… Of getting the SPi in the RPi repository fixed to work with Buster ?
( Since my last plea ) …
I have found the problems are identical with 3 B + and 4 B
With SPi taskbar volume has no effect .
After SPi has been opened sound is disabled until reboot .
SPi will not open a second time without reboot .
Since SPi is on the ’ preferred software ’ menu , it would be so
nice to have it work …
Agreed, it would absolutely be great if it did.
Unfortunately the situation is still the same.
We currently don’t have the resources to put towards maintaining packages for any official Linux software repositories, Raspberry Pi included.
As always, we’re super keen for anyone willing to help with this!
For the moment, @robin.newman’s fabulous binary .deb file that’s available directly from https://sonic-pi.net/ (or Releases · sonic-pi-net/sonic-pi · GitHub) is the best we have.
