I liked @robin.newman’s Linux building instructions
but I got tired of typing them in by hand; I would make mistakes 50% of the time. So I paid an Upworker to create a build script out of them, for Ubuntu 16.04. He went and cloned the entire SP repo to Bitbucket :-/

basically builds a working SP 3.2 on Ubuntu 16.04 with minimum hassle, MIDI and all.
Wondering if folk would like this included in the core distribution ? Wondering what the best way to do that is ? Submit a merge request ?
