Coded this movement into Sonic Pi 3 this afternoon, amalgamated from two separate midi files. Converted code to Sonic Pi format then used samples from Sonatina Syymphonic Library to play the parts. The oboe samples were too short, so I made my own ones. The end effect is quite nice I think.
Sonic Pi is so versatile. One minute I can use it to work with external synths and sequencers, the next code classical music.
Heard this piece on Classic FM this morning, and thought that would be nice on Sonic Pi!
