Hey all,
For those of you like me who might be slightly mystified by the confusing plethora of components and technical terms that make up the audio stack on Unix / Linux systems, I came across this very helpful blog post that explains it all, in a good level of detail, without requiring any prerequisite knowledge. Very useful!

Thanks Ethan, this looks good. I’d used Linux for business purposes for years, but not for audio until now. “Slightly mystified” is one way of putting it.

Edit : for audio linux distributions, there is https://ubuntustudio.org/ too. somebody has tried AV Linux MX Edition is here! | ?
