I’ve been working as a web and software developer for over 25 years and have been making music for 30 years, but only found out about Sonic Pi a week or so ago – the internet is a big place, I guess. Over the years, I’ve accumulated a lot of outboard gear and am looking forward to integrating Sonic Pi into it my setup, both to create noise and control synths. I’m always looking for ways to compensate for my acute lack of instrument-playing skills, and I’m so happy to have found a piece of music production software that really resonates with how my brain works.
