@robin.newman Hmm and what would I have to do to just install a proper working version on my RPi3 because in the past I ran sonic pi perfectly on my Raspberry Pi 3 without issues.
Which OS with which Sonic Pi would work?
I really don’t want to buy a new RPi for this project.
Bullseye (legacy 32 bit on imager) with 4-B …
ON a RPi 3
If you have bullseye based RPi OS 32bit then you should be able to downlad and install my 32bit deb file for version 4.3 from Release Pathfinder · sonic-pi-net/sonic-pi · GitHub
scroll down the and select the version you want, sonic-pi_4.3.0_1_bullseye.armhf.deb Download it.
I would suggest uninstalling any Sonic PI already installed using
sudo apt remove sonic-pi
from a terminal first.
then use sudo apt install ./path/to/downloaded-debfile
