Is possible to use VS Code Editor instead of Sonic Pi's editor?

I found a VS Code Extension, even though it works, there’s no shortcut for the PLAY/STOP buttons (which Sonic Pi’s text editor does provide CMD + R, CMD + S)

Some other posts that I have found about this topic are 2 years old and there’s no clear solution.
