I really think that using a code editor like “Monaco Editor” really could level up the editing experience. It is the same editor that Visual Studio Code uses and has a lot of shortcuts to edit texts that most of the developers already know. This could be a great opportunity even if you implement it and, at first, you leave it as optional.
Moving or editing multiple lines at the same time could really be a game-changer for the most skilled performers.
