Hello all!
I’m Willow, from Australia but now living in Germany. I have been making music for about 7 years now under a bunch of different aliases, mostly using a DAW & VSTs, and starting to feel a bit stuck in a box. I originally heard about Sonic Pi when I was into Raspberry Pi around 2015, and decided to finally try to learn it. The last few days I have been working through the lessons in the IDE as a means to challenge myself, and think in new ways. It’s a blast so far, but I am still a long way from making anything apart from bleeps and bloops and slowed down amen breaks.
Anyways, I just wanted to join the community here, see what weird and wonderful things are possible with Sonic Pi, learn from others here, and try to only ask good questions.
