How to Guitar Sound

I am in search of some ideas for making some guitar-like sounds.

I’ve played with ideas here and its a great base:

Just wondering if anyone had some other ideas or techniques?

One route is to make our own electric guitar synth with Super Collider, another is to collect samples of electric guitars. Neither one of those options is one I’ve made time for up to this point.

But, I think your code has the right idea.

I second @cubicinfinity idea to collect electric guitar samples. I have even recorded myself playing guitar and imported those into Sonic Pi. I’ve done chords and even made a folder of single notes to use to play scales and melodies.
