Hi, I’m Frank from London.
I’ve dabbled in coded music using other platforms including Extempore… but the learning curve on Scheme was too large to keep it all in my head.
I then found Sonic Pi and found the language simpler and the fantastic environment with tutorials, examples and reference material built in so much easier to access. Congratulations and buildng such an accessible platform. I then started watching Sam’s presentations and realise why it’s built this way.
It’s still early days, but I’ve already built some interesting “patches”. I look forward to really exploring what is possible.
My main interests are in coded music, not necessarilly live coding. As a software engineer by day I also hope to dive into the code.
