Hi chums,
having recently abandoned Windows and installed Zorin 18, I have used its ‘Software Centre’ to install Sonic Pi, but only version 3.2.2. Audio and GUI is fine, running nicely, but is it possible/easy to install the latest 5.0 version? I’m not very fluent in using the Terminal.
Many thanks in advance.

@brendanmac your best bet is probably to go with the AppImage build available at Sonic Pi - The Live Coding Music Synth for Everyone (presumably the x64 version). Once downloaded it needs to be marked as executable. I’m not on Linux myself, so someone else more familiar may know more, but hopefully after that you’re good to go.

Thanks @ethancrawford I’ll give it a whirl. . .
Right-click → Properties → Check the “executable” box.
