Anyone Up for a Jam Session?

Hey All,

I have been having a blast experimenting with live coding & I thought it’d be fun to invite others for a jam session. If anyone’s interested, let’s stream a live performance and see what we can create together! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned coder; it does not matter—we can all learn and have fun.

I am into experimental beats, ambient vibes & some glitchy synth sounds but I am open to all kinds of styles. The goal is to collaborate and just enjoy the process of making music in real-time.

I have also been brushing up on some programming skills & a Java Course Online really helped me improve my coding abilities; which I now incorporate into my performances.

Also i have check this Looking for a live coding DJ/artist in Chicagoland, IL (USA) area! if there are any tip please share with me.

Thank you…

Hi @Sofiaya
I would very much be interested in joining in - I am a mediocre coder, an intermediate Sonic Pilot, and a lifelong professional musician ( ).

I suggested something similar a while back, and the response was ok, but a little lukewarm. Which online platform would you recommend for realtime audio/video?

Hey Sofiaya, Sounds like a great idea. I’m not experienced but interested to follow along and learn when you’re doing it with others - can you post the link, please?
Also interested to know why you chose Java as the language to learn, rather than (say) Ruby? I did a shortie Ruby intro and it has helped a lot, just wondering where Java fits into the landscape (being a beginner in coding). Thanks!
