I have been putting this through its paces and it is working well. The glitches with midi have been sorted and I celebrated with a rendition of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor which I’ve put on soundcloud.
My default setup uses a jack to pulse audio module thus it is easy to switch the audio to any available source, including an external bluetooth speaker which I have working.
I recorded the Bach from the Pi4 which sent midi to QSynth from which the audio was then fed back to Sonic Pi as a live_audio feed.
I hope to produce a deb file for the Pi before too long.
And I’m looking forward to running 3.3 on my Rpi too.
