Playable synth example patch?

I’m looking to build some basic multi-osc MIDI-playable synth setups in SPI. Does anyone have an example .rb file for something like this?

While looking, I found this discussion:

… which suggests (I’m paraphrasing here) that because SPI is about scheduling notes, you more-or-less need to know the duration at the time you trigger the note.

Based on that I see why Pd is better suited for this particular task, but it would be nice not to have to switch between the two just to make something to noodle around on with the keyboard. :smiley:
