Hello!

My name is Gregory Porter (or DJ Von Porterloff, depending on my platform )

I have been playing with Sonic Pi for a month or two now and I am digging it. I was originally drawn to it because, by trade, I am a software engineer. I can’t say, however, that I am in love with my job at present.
“Is it because you don’t like programming?” I asked myself. I knew I liked music; making it with Korg’s Volca devices and guitar, and listening to it.

So I decided to try to merge my professional skills with an interest to see if I can make something unique and enjoyable (to me and others).

I have been slowly but surely adding to a blog about music and, more excitingly, streaming on twitch.

I welcome anyone to stop by when I happen to be streaming and let me know if you have any suggestions!
