Hi! I’m Amy from Wisconsin. I’m a musician & audio engineer with very limited coding experience. I’m new to this forum but I’ve been using Sonic Pi for a few months now. I stumbled across this platform while I was looking into ways to use technology more creatively.
I have a lot to learn, but so far I’m astonished at how accessible this coding environment is. It’s such a fun and fascinating way to experience the power of writing code. As I dig deeper, I hope to use Sonic Pi as a live instrument in my performances and recordings. I also hope to turn on other people in the Midwest music scene to this awesome music making tool. Who knows? maybe I’ll be able to use this as a gateway into other types of coding.
