Very off topic but FUN

Excuse posting this which I just came across . Such fun. But some serious stuff to produce it. Now linked to Sonic Pi. … the mind boggles
Seriously though you could record some nice samples to use with Sonic Pi I’m going to giver that a go.

Hmmm … hmmm…

So if we scrape the page… figure out how to convert it to python and OSC…

Yes! We could have our own ‘Sound Minions’ in SP!

Thunder rolls and Lightning Flashes

Muhahahahaha!!!

Dark Eli…

Sam… don’t look at me like that… Sam…
Not the ‘Ban Stick’… Pleeease… Nooooooooo!)

I said I would have a play with this using Sonic Pi. Here is my remix of the sample Away in a Manger from Blob Opera.

This track is a remix using Sonic Pi to control samples taken from the insanely great Blob Opera* featuring the demo of Alway in a Manger.
Three verses are played, with mixtures of the four parts sounding at different times. Each verse is increased in pitch by 1 semitone. Reverb and positioning in the stereo spectrum are also added.
*With thanks to David Li for a great project.
