Does anyone have a particularly resource intensive song they could share?
I am trying to get a handle on resource usage on my macbook and if there is any headroom to run some external effects through a DAW.
Let me dig through and see what I can find. I think I have an extratone song running at 1000 BPM that eventually crashes. You would have to find your own drums cause I don’t remember where I got those ones from, but if you don’t care about the sound and just want to stresstest, it should work.
Here is an example of the code running. I will see if I have it anywhere.
Notice at the end how it dies? That’s on my desktop that can run any VR thing, so it’s a Beefy system, and it still craps out at running it too fast. lol.
I was wrong. I found the single version, and the samples are in there.
You can easily repurpose it though. I hope this helps.

I got several .rb-files that work together over gets and read out and send commands to a midi controller. it tends to run out of … speed. or so. i posted it some month ago on github.
