Hello everyone, I want to install sonic pi in raspberry. To use OSC communication, do I have to use the LAN port to Connect network cable?

If you want to send OSC messages to other computers, then you will use the lan connection, or alternatively a WiFi connection. You can however, send OSC messages from Sonic Pi to itself, or to a python script running on the same Raspberry Pi for example without having to have a network connection.
Here is a project I did which uses OSC to control GPIO pins on the Pi using OSC which doesn’t need a network connection
