Just found Sonic Pi - Experimenting

Hi Community - I’m excited to join and participate here. I have years of working in physical computing and AI, and am working on a small project to use a wireless microcontroller to control Sonic Pi. I wish I knew about Sonic Pi when I was a professor teaching designers about creative technologies. Max/MSP didn’t quite do it…

I’ll ask my question under a different topic, but super briefly, I want to wirelessly mix the volumes of several sample played in sync.

You can ask my chatbot about my practice at my website.

Hi pvadbx and welcome!

Interested to know what microcontroller you’re using. Have been playing with these on the side. Sonic Pi is fab - have fun!

Hi @rebelchello,

Thanks for the welcome! I’m using the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C6 with Circuitpython. A small, cheap, powerful WiFi enabled device that I’m using to send OSC.

Thanks for this - haven’t come across these and they’re good value. Hope your experiments going well!

All best,
