First SPI version with ' PLUCK '

What was the earliest version to have PLUCK ?
What was the latest version to be included ( and work ) on RPi menu ?

I have been diagnosed with brain atrophy and need simple access to SPi …

Hey @hitsware

The earliest version that the :pluck synth appeared in looks to be v2.10.
(It was included briefly before that as :guitar).

As for the last working version to be distributed with the RPi, not sure really. Something before 3.2.2 anyway. Perhaps Sam or @robin.newman might know?

Thank You ! … Now to see if Jessie will run on RPi 400 ?

I have made BINARY packages for Sonic Pi for a whole range of versions and Raspberry Pi OS. These are ONLY for the raspberry Pi and the OS shown for each one. Scroll down the list and choose what is relevant to your raspberry Pi OS. The best one to go for if you use the latest BookWorm release is 4.5.1
(In fact I have Sonic pi also running on 5.0beta 2)

I love the pluck synth on Sonic PI. I use it a lot when play Bach on the PI as it has a nice harpsichord like sound. I often use it with the midiplayer software I wrote for the Pi and feed midi files directly in to be played using aplaymidi on the Pi, midiplayerX if running on a Mac.
