Best Raspberry Pi OS / config for headless Sonic Pi?

I’ve been happily working on a sound installation in Sonic Pi, developing it on my Windows system, and I’m about to move it over to my Raspberry Pi 4B - the device I am going to be running it on in situ.

I haven’t a whole lot of experience with Raspberry Pi or Linux - is there a particular OS that would best suit Sonic Pi? Are there any settings you would generally recommend for a Raspberry Pi exclusive system?

I want to have it run my Sonic Pi script on boot - I’ve seen the threads about the init.rb option and that sounds great - but is there an optimum way for me to run Sonic Pi on powering-on the Raspberry Pi 4?
