This genre of classical music lends itself very well to Sonic Pi. The :tri synth is great for playing recorder sounds and the highly rhythmic sounds are well suited to the program. The use of the :pan option helps to render the antiphonal sounds of some of these pieces. I enjoy selecting these early scores and setting them up to play in Sonic Pi. Old meets New!
