Unlimited chord progression - a 4 bar diatonic progress generator

working on this for a day, I think it’s taking shape. simply supply the function with the key, scale type and seed, you get a 4 bar diatonic chord progression( all 7th chords). Change the seed number to get a fresh 4 bar loop. Hope it can be useful for someone looking for something like this.

oops the degree array should have 7 too.

I like the idea of a random diatonic chord progression generator.

You should take a look at the chord_degree function in the documentation, if you haven’t already.
It does a lot of the work that this function is doing in terms of chord degrees, chord quality etc.

Great Job with the Generator but … the Drumkit is very neat too :wink:
