Sines and waves, and the sound of silence: destructive interference

Hey all!

If two precisely opposite sound waves combine, the peaks of one cancel out the troughs of another. It’s called destructive interference, and if it’s done perfectly, the result is total silence

Can this be done in sonicpi? (And how would you do it?; )

A while back I had a try with some live loops using the sine / beep synths, and I think I heard a reduction in sound, with live_loop wave2 synced with an offset, but the goal of silence wasn’t achieved.

Many thanks ! :pray:t3:
