Live loops in Tau

Hi Sam. I have been turning 10 and 11 year olds at my school’s code club into live DJs for a few years now - all thanks to you and Sonic Pi!

This term, we thought we would try out Tau, which has been great so far. However, when we update a piece of code inside a live loop, instead of seamlessly changing on the next loop, when we click on Run, the program seems to stop momentarily, then apply any change made in the live loop. This means we can’t use it for live DJing so we have reverted to Sonic Pi.

Is this something you think you could look into in Tau?

That’s currently a bug - sorry - I’ll have it fixed soon.

For now, just go into “JAM” mode and use the Run option and click on the tab button to auto switch and run the code.
