Error on startup

Hi
I have a student who have issues starting Sonic Pi. Any suggestions on what we can try?

I believe it might be the Unicode characters in this audio device name that’s causing the issue. I’ll message you directly with a link to very pre-alpha beta (that has other major known issues that stop me making it generally available for people to play with at this stage). However, it might solve this particular issue and I’d be very interested to know if it does.
