I spend my time building bizarre gadgets for my grandchildren generally involving some combination of rpi, arduino, micro:bit, electronics and recycled parts from obsolete equipment controlled by an eclectic mix of home brew and open-source software.
My current project is creating a theremin inspired music box for my 4 year old grandson to create music The core is sonic-pi supported by a python application to agregate data from arduino, rpi, micor:bit and consle. I’m not a musician so I’m having a great time learning the basics of music.
