"Monophonic" sample loop?

Hi Eli, I thought of that in the beginning, but it’s not about the sample duration itself, but about the duration between 2 button presses. So the duration needed could actually be shorter that the whole sample duration (if the user presses the buttons thusly). In any case, thank you for the suggestion :slight_smile:

I tried the kill command as well, but the loop ignores it if it’s not explicitly scheduled at the time of launch. If I trigger the kill after a sleep line in the same loop, it works, but if I trigger it from outside - the sample keeps playing until the end and only then it gets killed. I’ll look at that again, as suggested in the responses here. Thanks again!

I finally had the occasion to test this solution in the context of the project. After slightly adapting it to work with external samples, it worked like a charm :slight_smile: What an amazing program and community. Thank you again for your time!
