# Windows 11 upgrade?

I am considering upgrading to Windows 11. Will Sonic Pi run ok on Windows 11?

Hi @keys,

I have no idea, sorry. None of my PCs have been offered an upgrade to Windows 11 so not only do I not have any experience but I also can’t offer any support at this stage.

Ok thanks. I will wait a bit then I guess. But my wife has a machine with Windows 11. I can install there and see if it seems to run ok.

I tested SP first on another computer with Win11 and it seemed to be working fine. I then upgraded my own machine, and Sonic Pi has been running successfully since the upgrade.
