I am trying to pitch up and down some samples I have, but I’ve noticed that when I pitch by over an octave in either direction, it sounds really metallic. Why is that, from the perspective of frequencies? I tried the other options to attenuate the metallic sound as recommended but it still sounds much worse than the ± 6 range.
