# White window at startup

Hi Sam.

I am using the Apple Silicon version. However magically Sonic Pi was reborn and now works. I wonder what had happened?

Hi @Roberto,

I have a MacBook Pro M2 Max - also with Sonoma 14.3.1 and it works fine for me. I’ve never heard of Sonic Pi opening up with a completely white window before - that’s really weird.

Which version of Sonic Pi are you using - and are you using the Apple Silicon or Intel build?
