# Sonic Pi does not sound when Audio Interface is connected and setup?

Sonic Pi does sound as expected when Output Device I have my laptop selected (Macbook Pro). But does not sound when my Audio Interface is connected and selected as Sound Output Device (Scarlett Solo).
Why? Even though I’m able to get sound output from any other sources (Spotify, etc…) and I get to see logs and sound waves in the Sonic Pi’s Scope section

Going to `Preferences > Audio` and checking the “Enable Audio Inputs” in the “Audio Input” section and restarting Sonic Pi, did the trick. After that I was able to get Input and Output from my Scarlett Solo Audio Interface.
