Thanks @mrbombmusic, that’s a good point. Is there anything currently in SP that can be leveraged, to identify the scales which this could work with? _If_ I’m correct in understanding the problem is that note-name lookup will only work on a (small?) subset of “SP’s scales collection”

Maybe this is something done by [ziffers!](https://in-thread.sonic-pi.net/t/ziffers-numbered-musical-notation/1557)
