Hi guys, I was running code from tutorial last night, and just when I was about to type underline symbol “\_” in, I forgot to change the input method back to English, so what I was actually typing is a Chinese symbol “——”, which made the sonic pi immediately crash. I’ve tried another several times and this issue is deterministic.

However, simply by pasting this symbol in won’t trigger this issue.

The version of sonic pi is v4.5.1, running on intel chipped macbook air, macos Monterey 12.7.6

It’s definitely worth raising this on [the GitHub page](https://github.com/sonic-pi-net/sonic-pi) @nordicwing - that’s where issues are tracked 🙂
