For an experiment ( not expecting much ) , I tried Sonic Pi with Bullseye
( Raspberry Pi 3 B + ) … Lo and Behold ! … Someone has done some
work on it … Renews my faith in humanity …
Who said Christmas miracles had to happen on December 25?
Are you referring to SP version 3.2.2 which is bundled with Raspberry Pi OS based on Debian Bulls Eye? This is based on a version developed I think by Valentin Vidic, one of the multimedia maintainers of the Debian Repository, Sonic Pi 3.2.2~repack-7. I suppled some input to the Raspberry Pi Foundation for a patch to be applied to enable it to utilise the Pulse Audio sound system which it is used by default on the new OS, resulting in the deb 3.2.2~repack-7-7-rpt1 which is used on the new RP OS.
I also have BINARY debs for the latest current release for SP which is 3.3.1

Yes …
1 ) Installs from ’ prefered software ’
2) Plays through both outputs ( with working volume control )
3) No need to reboot between sessions .
4) No annoying ’ screen flash ’ while opening .

Thank You , Valentin !

Thank You , Robin !
I still like the previous graphics better , but it must be a
matter of taste , since I see all new versions have the
shrunk buttons and mini borders …
Now I can SPi awhile without going to Stretch !
